WBAB is the Long Island radio station that aired The Opie Show, the precursor to The Opie and Anthony Show. As fate would have it, a young construction worker by the name of Anthony Cumia entered a song, "Gonna Electric Shock OJ" by Rotgut, into a song parody contest Opie was holding. The song turned out to be a huge hit, and the rest is history.
