WAAF was "the only station that really rocks" and was the home of Opie and Anthony from 1995-1998. Opie and Anthony were huge on WAAF but played an April Fool's Day Prank where they said that Mayor Menino of Boston died in a car accident. O&A were later fired from the station and went to WNEW.
While at WAAF, Opie and Anthony taped many douche chill segments for Real Rock TV
