Bio
Born on September 11th, 1985 South Jersey actor/comedian Louis Centanni finds no limit when it comes to seeking success in the entertainment industry, regardless that he has Tourette Syndrome.
Beginning his career at age eight, Louis has been pursuing his goals in the fields of film, television, stage, radio, and stand up without letting his disorder get in his way.
In June of 2004, Louis entertained viewers of all ages when he was featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where he performed his self made comedy bit Belly Ball. Some of his film and television credits include, the award winning film Valediction, Court TV's Forensic Files, The Simple Life 3 on FOX, and the hit music video "Shaniqua" as seen on MTV and VH1.
As a comic, Louis makes light of his neurological disorder highlighting the hilarious experiences in his life dealing with Tourettes. A disorder that effects many of Americans, Tourettes Syndrome has added an unwanted burden on Louis' life but he's not about to let it get the best of him.
This rising star of many talents finds pleasure and fulfillment in spreading side splitting laughs, one tick at a time.
Louis has quickly become a popular regular guest on the Opie & Anthony Show.
On April 12, 2010 it was said that Twitchels was tired of being made fun of on the show and now does Hoo Hoo's show.
Fun Facts
- It was uncovered on the December 22, 2005 show that one of his OCD/Tourette's ticks is that whenever he hears the word "jump," he must do so. This was quickly exploited by the boys. Another OCD ritual is that when given a large quantity of Almond Joy candy bars, he has to eat them all until he pukes.
- Often does the news with Big A, whose speech impediment is also severe.
- A thirty-second clip of his various vocal ticks was made into an entry for the "Most Annoying 30 Seconds Ever" contest. It fit the bill nicely.
- During one of the O&A Traveling Virus shows in 2006, Twitchels was so distraught over being relegated to the petting zoo area and reprimanded by Club Soda Kenny that he went back to his room and cried the rest of the show away. Twitchels and Kenny both had differing stories on what happened, and Pat from Moonachie was non-commital and useless in the argument.
- Is a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz, which is gayer than gay. He does an impression of the Cowardly Lion from the movie, which for some reason turns into an impression of Edith Bunker. O&A thought the impression was great when they first heard it and were laughing at it. Now they wonder what the hell was wrong with them.
- On February 23, 2007 he had to play a game of Jenga against Danny. O&A thought the game would be over instantly because of Twitchels' Tourettes (or Danny's alcoholic shakes); instead, the game lasted an hour until Twitchels lost. As punishment, Twitchels received a bare bottom paddling.
