Tim used to work for The Opie and Anthony Show when O&A were on terrestrial radio, and was responsible for creating promos for various bits. He was known for creating promos very quickly, sometimes minutes after a bit is suggested, and for using very annoying voices during them. When O&A were considering dropping Phone Call Thursday as one of their Theme Days, the replacement was Talk Like Tim Thursday, which never caught on.

Tim was one of the casualties when O&A's flagship station K-Rock switched to a pop music format in March, 2009. In February, 2010 he made a surprise appearance on O&A's version of "We Are the World".
