The Walk Over
From OAPedia.com
The Walk Over was the common term for the walk Opie and Anthony would make between the CBS Radio studio and the XM studio in the middle of the show. Fans would often wait outside the building to meet them and walk between studios together. Eventually, using a wireless mic setup, O&A made this into a regular bit, broadcasting live during the walk and allowing their fans to follow them.
During the winter months, the Walk Over was be skipped as it was too fucking cold for the boys to be funny and interesting. It was also put on hold while the XM studio was renovated during which time the bbboys were broadcasting solely from the CBS studio.
By 2008 the Walk Over as a broadcast bit was completely done away with. Now that O&A no longer broadcast from WXRK and have begun broadcasting exclusively from the Sirius XM studios, there is no chance of ever seeing another Walk Over as it was once known.
Noteworthy Events during the Walk Over
- O&A met a homeless man with a rotting leg. They noticed the guy was wearing a Boston Red Sox cap and decided to get him a Yankees cap instead, figuring he'll get more money that way. The man has since disappeared, which has everyone thinking he may be dead.
- O&A met Tony Bennett, who ended up running away from them.
- Rich Vos did his standup act inside several Starbucks and other places along the way.
- O&A had Club Soda Kenny skip down the street and toss money into the air.

- A fan gave Anthony an authentic Nazi helmet with visible swastika, which he proceeded to wear during the walk. Most pedestrians were completely oblivious to the Nazi in their midst. Anthony tried to hail a cab with the helmet on and succeeded. This led to the Nigga/Nazi Challenge (August 16, 2006).
- Opie jumped and delivered a tremendous double-stomp to Homeless Andrew's cake that he earned (October 24, 2006).
