The Line of the Day
From OAPedia.com
The Line of the Day is the part of the show where Opie and Anthony reveal who had the funniest line during the show. Sometimes the line is a witty joke (usually told by Jim Norton or Anthony); sometimes it's just something stupid (i.e. anything said by Rich Vos); occasionally, Opie will get a Line of the Day, but this is rare.
The line is often preceded by one or more runners-up. All lines are selected by the show staff and announced at the end of the show (when O&A were broadcasting on both terrestrial and XM, it was usually announced at the end of the XM portion of the show). For a time, Line of the Day was retired and replaced by the old What Did We Learn? bit, but it has since returned.
The Line of the Day usually ends with a sound clip of someone from the show. Past sound clips have included:
- Jim Norton belching
