The Graduate on Broadway

The play 'The Graduate' on Broadway was the adaptation of the 1967 film 'The Graduate' starring Anne Bancroft and Dustin Hoffman.
The Broadway version stared Kathleen Turner as Mrs. Robinson, Jason Biggs as Benjamin Braddock, and Alicia Silverstone as Mrs. Robinson's daughter, Elaine.
The play was discussed on the Opie and Anthony show when Steve C from Foundry Music went to see it. The main point of discussion was the fact that Kathleen Turner appears naked for a period of about 10 seconds. During the discussion, Anthony suggested someone should bring a recorder and shout something while she is naked. From there, the idea developed into a contest for a fan to take a recorder and shout during her nude scene.
After the initial discussion, someone associated with Kathleen Turner called GM Ken Stevens with the threat of a lawsuit. Opie and Anthony then said this was no longer a contest, but said they would give a prize to a listener that brought in a ticket to the show.
Opie and Anthony gave out hints that something might happen at one of the following week's shows of 'The Graduate', but this was just to throw people off. It was done on the Friday before they suggested it might happen.
Fiend and frequent guest of the O&A show Paul Mercurio was the person that shouted during the performance. They also had a couple other people at the show to record the event.
When Kathleen Turner disrobed, Mecurio stood and shouted "Kathleen, put your goddamn clothes back on." The crowd stayed mostly silent with only a few gasps. He then sat down to watch the rest of the play. It didn't take long for an usher to come along and kick him out of the theater. After pretending to be offended by the content, the usher offered him a refund.
He was then refunded money for a ticket he didn't buy, but not the Ticket Master service charge he also asked to be refunded.
