The David and Bobo Show

The David and Bobo Show was a mini-show within the Opie and Anthony Show that was hosted by Intern David and stalker fan Bobo. Early in David's internship the similarities in David and Bobo's retarded speech patterns and inability to understand sarcasm was noticed by Opie and Anthony. David, wanting to be on air talent someday, was offered a "joke" show by Opie which he would co-host with Bobo. The show, broadcast in the last fifteen minutes of the show that Friday was a train wreck. The time was spent by David continually asking where Bobo got his nickname, even though he answered the question again and again. When the Pests began berating David for his uselessness, David proceeded to spit fire upon the heads of his enemies.
Anthony called into the first show from his car, but acted in character to hide his identity. He criticized David for continually asking Bobo the same questions again and again, and that he shouldn't have been interviewing his cohost in the first place. David, unaware it was Ant, told the caller that he would like to see him host a radio show and see if he could do any better. On David's next day on O&A they reviewed David's show and trapped him into insulting the "caller" further before revealing it was Ant.
The show was a successful failure to the point where Opie and the others wanted another show the following Friday. This show went longer than scheduled and saw Opie and Jimmy staying in the audience as they were so captivated.
The show was more sporadic after that only happening a handful of times, with weeks inbetween episodes. Actual production value was added to the shows, in the form of drops and an intro produced by the guys behind the O&A show. This did little to help David and Bobo's ability as hosts.
Stalker Patti guested on one shows as the hole.
David's last day as an intern was also the last David and Bobo show.
Long time fans of the show were upset never to see Bobo's Knish Eating Contest see the light of day.
