Superball Challenge
From OAPedia.com
The Superball Challenge was a contest performed on Opie and Anthony that began in 2006. It involved volunteers putting their testicles through intense pain using a number of painful methods, including wax paper, mousetraps, bees, and wasps. The title was inspired by the Super Bowl, and the contest was performed shortly before the game that year.
History
- The first (and, so far, only) Superball Challenge was held on February 2, 2006.
- The first challenge involved mousetraps, and the goal was to see how many mousetraps one could attach to their yambag. The winner attached 6 mousetraps to his balls (with the 7th trap falling off).
- The second challenge involved placing wax paper over one's ball hair, and ripping it off very quickly.
- The third final challenge involved wearing a phallic apparatus on one's nuts that contained bees that would sting your testicles. The contest reached a dramatic conclusion when one contestant, Matt, put a cup with wasps on his nuts and was stung four times. Matt ultimately won the challenge.
- The ending of the show is considered one of the best in O&A history. On the audio, all you hear is Matt screaming, Norton screaming "get the cover" (which he was holding, but was so panicked he did not even notice), and O&A screaming to Matt "don't drop the jar".
