Rotgut

Rotgut was Anthony's and his brother Joe's band. They were centered out of Long Island. Anthony provided lead vocals and Joe played bass and co-wrote the tunes. It was with Rogot that Anthony recorded the song, Gonna 'Lectric Shock O.J., which was played on WBAB and led to Opie and Anthony meeting for the first time. In it's heyday the band also performed an entire song while hanging like corpses. Eddie Money, who visited the show for the first time in May of 2009 said he had heard of that show from friends, and had seen Rotgut play a few times on Long Island.

There have been a number of other Rotgut's over the years and at least two seperate Rotgot's currently with MySpace pages. But none of these are to be confused with Anthony's band.
