Rick Delgado

Rick Delgado served as Executive Producer for The Opie and Anthony Show during most of their tenure at WNEW. He is of Puerto Rican heritage and his sister Sandy was Opie's ex-girlfriend. Rick has had several jobs prior to getting involved in radio, such as a tram tour guide at Universal Studios, and a Hollywood extra, in which he appeared in Beverly Hills, 90210 as a gay gentlemen.
One of Rick's most memorable lines is "If you're not laughing within 20 minutes... then, maybe you're listening to the wrong show, I don't know." He also penned the song "Christopher Street", a parody of the Sesame Street theme, about gay New Yorkers with AIDS. Rick was nicknamed "Over the Top Rick" because he would usually go too far with bits for the show.
After the show was canceled from WNEW, Rick went his own way and got a job with Preston and Steve (where he allegedly gave them bits he stole from O&A), and later at Hot 97 in New York. He was fired not long after in February, 2005, for writing an "over the top" song parody about the Asian tsunami in which he belted out the infamous line "Swim, you bitches, swim!"
When O&A came back to radio on XM, they decided not to rehire Rick because they felt he wanted to be a star instead of a producer, and O&A didn't want to deal with that. His gig with Preston and Steve was a factor, as well.
Rick later went to work at a radio station in San Francisco, but is currently "between gigs" (Opie revealed on the air that he needed references for a painting job, and apparently he didn't get a good one). In February, 2008, it was revealed that he badmouthed Opie in an interview with Chaunce Hayden in Steppin' Out magazine. The magazine was released in April and also featured Rick badmouthing Jimmy, saying he sucked on the show. O&A defended Jimmy, saying their show became what it is because of Jimmy's addition, and slammed Rick for bashing them.
