Ray J. Johnson was a character created by comedian Bill Saluga. His claim to fame was going "You can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay..." whenever someone addressed him by his last name. He even put out a horrid disco record. Opie and Anthony trashed this guy on October 16, 2008. Since then, they imitate the "You can call me Ray..." bit whenever the names Ray or Jay come up on the show.
