Sam Roberts, AKA Primetime Sam Roberts, is a former intern and current permanent staff member of The Opie and Anthony Show. He is apparently a descendant of Thomas Jefferson. Sam is often goofed on for:
- His ambiguous race ("If he's white, then he's dark; if he's black, he's light.")
- His pronunciation of "camera"
- His child-like eating habits
- His love of wrestling and his seeming ignorance of the fact that wrestling is fake
- His numerous gay experiences:
- Sam has kissed three guys:
- A homeless man during the taping of O&A's Comedy Central show Search and Destroy
- Bob Kelly (Sam also sang "Happy Birthday" to Bob, which led to him being known as "Creepy Gay Kid").

Sam also co-hosted The Than and Sam Show with Than during The Saturday Night Virus, and currently co-hosts Special Delivery with East Side Dave. He is also the voice of the inventor in The Inventor and Epschtine bit with Steve C, as well as the character AJ Poopieschitz, the narrator of Prime Time Gossip, and creator of the bit What's the Happs?.
Sam is not to be confused with the Asian co-worker of Jimcy.
