Phone Call Thursday was a bit in done in 2007 on Thursdays in which Opie would take calls from people who had absolutely nothing to offer the show, except to wish the boys a "happy Phone Call Thursday".

Opie enjoyed the concept, since it was a good time waster. Anthony hated "Phone Call Thursday" because he thought the idea was redundant, since the show takes calls on all weekdays, not just Thursdays (Also because the show was now allowing callers of no value onto the air.), and he referred to it as Dummy Thursday. It was allowed to be discontinued if Anthony would accept a new theme as a replacement, without knowing what that theme would be; the new theme ended up being Talk Like Tim Thursday, which was far more annoying to Anthony and Jimmy than Phone Call Thursday ever was; however, the listeners wouldn't let Phone Call Thursday die, and continued to call into the show to celebrate the day.
