Pat O'Brien is an entertainment reporter and host of The Insider who went to rehab in 2005 because taped phone messages surfaced where O'Brien repeatedly called a woman he wanted to have sex with, saying he wanted to have a three-way with her and a girl he knew named Betsy, and wanted to order prostitutes and do cocaine with her. These calls were played on The Opie and Anthony Show a few months after they began on XM. Because their show was on satellite radio, O&A were probably the only people that could play the calls uncensored. Eventually the listeners began remixing the phone messages with audio from the Bill's Dead call, Terri Schiavo, and Howard Stern, among others.

On January 9, 2006, the tapes were again played by Howard Stern in the premiere of his show for the Little doggy company, because of course, "Hoo Hoo! Tell 'em Fred, I invented this."
