Ozone Midget Sighting

A bit started by John Osterlind a.k.a. "The Ozone," a former WAAF jock, and pal of O&A.

Apparently there was an abundance of midgets in Boston, and people would call in sightings to Ozone.

Today, O&A do the same, but give the credit and respect to Ozone by calling it "The Ozone Midget Sighting Of The Day." Ozone was the only WAAF jock to support them after their firing from the station.

You never know when they will happen, but the booming sweeper will let you know, along with "Meanwhile... back at the show.."

Almost every time, Opie jokes, "Who saw this coming?"

Another part to the gag is that the Midget Sighting exists sort of outside of the show. Once the "Meanwhile..." clip is played after the sighting is over, it is protocol to move on with the show as if the Midget Sighting didn't even happen and not to mention it again once that last sweeper is played. Occasionally this rule is broken, and it tends to annoy Opie.
