Opie/Norton On-Air Argument

April 22, 2005 will forever be remembered by the fans of the Opie and Anthony Radio Pogram. Following what was perceived by Jim Norton to be a snub by Opie on fellow comic Sean Rouse, an hour of cringe radio ensued, as Jim and Opie traded barbs, insults, and potty language. All Anthony could do was sit back in awe, muttering phrases like "Holy shit!"
April 22nd was a Friday, and Opie and Jim called each other over the weekend and were friends again the next day. On Monday, Jim was not on the show due to an HBO taping, but Opie gave an update on the argument, and spoke highly of his good friend Jim.
For some reason, XM decided to omit this argument from the replays that day and instead replaced it with O&A's interview with Tommy Chong. Opie and Jim Norton stated their displeasure with this decision in the next live show and the entire argument was subsequently made available for download on foundrymusic.com.
