Money Snatch
From OAPedia.com
Money Snatch was an O&A contest held on May 8th, 2002 open only to female listeners. The title came from wacky radio bits in which people are required to stuff money down their clothes while it flies around them in a wind tunnel, sometimes called a "Money Grab". The name also takes on a different meaning when considering where a completely naked female contestant would be required to store the money for it to count.
During the week leading up to the show, Anthony would explain to female callers the "final twist" of the contest. Opie would turn off Ant's microphone and play elevator music in order to stop any of Anthony's voice bleeding through and to chew up the dead air. Anthony would ask crude sexual questions to the caller in a deep voice, but the listeners only heard the callers answers.
The day of the contest around $1,500, mostly one dollar bills, was spread around the O&A studio, even hanging from the ceiling(s). The person who collected the most money in seven minutes won any uncollected bills, and all the ladies could keep their money if it was "snatched" successfully. Rick brought in a leaf blower to blow the money around, and according to Jim Norton, he looked like Leatherface.
