Mel Karmazin

Mel Karmazin was the president of Infinity Broadcasting and is currently the CEO of Sirius. He often clashed with Opie and Anthony over their feud with Howard Stern, since the three of them worked under Mel at Infinity. Mel would usually take Howard's side during each conflict due to their close friendship. Howard even went so far as to have Mel implement a gag order on O&A so they couldn't say Howard's name on their show.

With the Sirius-XM merger approved, Mel will be the CEO of the new merged company. He appeared on O&A's show on July 30, 2008; it was the first time O&A had spoken to him in 6 years. O&A had concerns that they would be taken off the air on satellite in favor of Howard, but Mel seemed to indicate their jobs would be safe.
