Leonard Rhomberg is a man who worked for 50 years at the first McDonald's restaurant in Missouri. On September 15, 2009, Opie and Anthony discussed the story on the air and got Leonard himself on the phone. Since Leonard was hard of hearing, O&A made sure to shout their answers at him. They also talked with Leonard's manager and asked if Leonard was a bit retarded, and whether Leonard added his own "special sauce" to the burgers. Getting Leonard back on the phone, they pretended they were upper-level McDonald's management and told him he was fired. He hung up on them afterward, which made O&A worry that he thought he was really fired, and that he'd try to end it all (by jumping in front of a bus).
