The King of Comedy is a 1983 movie directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert de Niro. The movie is the source for several sound clips that Opie and Anthony frequently play:

"Yeah, ha ha ha ha!" - de Niro makes believe he's on the late night talk show whose host he's stalking.

"Ma! I have to do this!" - de Niro is interrupted by his offscreen mother while making an awful audition tape.

"Ha ha ha ha! That's terrific, that's terrific." - de Niro tries to pretend the gruff rejection by his celebrity idol was all a big joke.
