Keith the Cop

Keith the Cop is a lieutenant in the NYPD that has become a friend of the show and personal friend of Opie and Anthony over the years. Keith often helps out during live show events in New York City, and is a frequent caller as well. He also picks up homeless people to participate in the Homeless Shopping Spree.

Since Anthony broke up with Mellinda, Keith has been helping Ant out with things like doing his laundry, and even has his own guest room in Ant's house, The Compound. This led to speculation that he and Ant are sharing a gay relationship. One listener, John from Virginia, referred to Keith as "Keith the Top" (in an Instant feedback on April 14, 2008), which was what Keith was called for the rest of the day. On June 2, 2008 Jimmy informally named him "Keith the Cuckold", because Ant was now seeing Jill Nicolini and Keith had to carry around her pink bags when the show took a trip to Boston.

FUN FACTS

  • Put a lawn jockey on Ant's front lawn whilst he was away on vacation.
  • Used to play Everquest, then realized he lost over $150 000 in overtime pay because he was playing the game all the time.
  • Was present when Jill Nicoleaky burned one of Ants house guest's possessions in a fire pit.
  • Got pulled over by Sheriff Deputies on Long Island (along with Ant) while driving a Lamborghini during Super Car Weekend.
