Jocktober

Jocktober is a month-long celebration of bad radio shows that Opie and Anthony first held in October, 2008. The bit is that each day of October O&A goof on a random radio station somewhere in the country a point out how bad and all alike they are. The name is goof on "Rocktober," a hacky month long bit that awful radio stations do. It replaced E-Rocktober as O&A's Rocktober goof, which had been celebrated during October, 2007.
An important fact about Jocktober is that, for the most part, any show that is ripped apart only has audio from one day of recent broadcast played. Anyone can listen to a radio show over a long period of time and pick out the bad stuff, but by playing one typical show without prejudice it becomes clear how bland and shitty these shows are. The exception to this rule can be when long time O&A targets like Scott & Todd or John & Jeff are covered.
During 2009's Jocktober, E-Rock was forced to unveil a new character, The Virus, on October 5. The Virus is meant to be a goof on the wacky characters that morning shows have. Unfortunately, E-Rock totally sucks at the bit. His voice sounds like Pee-Wee Herman or Bobcat Goldthwait, and he can't improvise a joke to save his life.
2011's Jocktober evolved a new feature: Within minutes of a show being featured the Pests immediately begin attacking the Facebook pages of the show with harsh things, O&A show references and disturbing pictures. These attacks have been followed on the air as they're happening and eventually most shows close their Facebooks.
Also on October 14, 2011, while smashing the Woody & Jim show, Opie realized that "Jim" was one of his best friends in college and someone he came up in radio with. Opie tried to tap out of the bit but the Pests immediately tried to make it worse by by sending Jim horrible posts and saying they were Opie's idea.
