Jesse Ventura
From OAPedia.com
Jesse Ventura, ex-wrestler and former governor of Minnesota, appeared on The Opie and Anthony Show on April 8, 2008 to promote his book Don't Start the Revolution Without Me! During the interview, O&A and Jim Norton got into a discussion with him over his views on the 9/11 attacks. Ventura believed the conspiracy theories about the attacks and posed questions about why certain details about the attacks happened the way they did. When Anthony and Jimmy tried to answer his questions and debate him, Jesse wouldn’t let them give their explanations. Jimmy was especially vocal in trying to argue with Ventura, which pissed Ventura off immensely. By the time he left, Ventura was not happy.
Ventura returned to the show on May 19, 2009. Once again, he was babbling about his 9/11 conspiracies (this time trying to say that the Twin Towers were brought down because they were covered with thermite paint) and Jimmy and Ant continued trying to set him straight. Unfortunately, the interview ended up getting cut off by Sirius XM because it was close to 11:00 and the show was ending (or maybe it was a government conspiracy, MAAAAAAAAAAN!).
During another appearance on December 2, 2009, the conversation between Jesse and Jimmy became so heated that Jesse said he wouldn't come back to appear on the show. According to Ron Bennington, Ventura was so angry he went through the turnstile twice to get out of the building. Jimmy got props for holding his own against Ventura that day.
