Hack
From OAPedia.com
A hack is a term used to describe a comic, radio host, or other performer who thinks he's the best, but his fellow comics/radio personalities and attendees/listeners of his show know his routine is outdated, stupid, and unfunny. Opie and Anthony have also called themselves hacks when describing their early radio bits (such as Sperm Bowl 96).
Proven Hacks
- The Amazing Kreskin
- Don Geronimo
- Howard Stern
- Jim Philips
- Loper and Smitty
- Mancow
- Maxwell
- Preston and Steve
- Tom Leykis
- Adam Carolla - Hack radio show, has a hole, and had a commercial of him kissing Hoo Hoo Howie's ass, as heard on the Free FM days.
Hack Comics
There are a few comics that have been labeled on the Opie and Anthony shows as being "hacks" and are generally disliked by Opie, Anthony, Li'l Jimmy, and other friends of the show. Below is a list of some of these awful hack comics:
- Ant - Fear Factor host, comedian, and friend of O&A Joe Rogan exposed this hack as a joke thief when he recited a joke lifted from the film Boiler Room. Ant is gay, and all of his weak material revolves around this fact.
- Dat Phan - The winner of the first Last Comic Standing reality show, this hack's act consists of poor impressions of his hack Asian mother. The fact that he beat out superior comics (and friends of O&A) Rich Vos and Ralphie May only increased the hatred for Phan among the O&A Army.
- Richard Jeni - O&A notoriously slammed this sellout during their WNEW days. A true network sellout, his most notable credit is an abominable UPN sitcom, Platypus Man, that was cancelled after 1 season. He has since done the honorable thing and put a bullet through his head.
- Rich Vos - This goes without saying.
- Christopher Titus - A hack comedian who, like Dat Phan, is a one trick pony, talking about his alcoholic father and crazy mother. He has an ego bigger than Big A and Erock put together, and should be voted hugest douche on the planet. Titus has no right to call himself a comedian.
Prop Comics
A special subsection of hack comics are prop comics - comedians who use funny little props as part of their act. Though often derided by O&A, some prop comics (Gallagher and Carrot Top) are friends of the show.
