Divide and Conquer is a scumbag technique used to negotiate salaries with radio show teams. You try to get the duo signed for as little as possible, and if necessary turn them against each other to save money. If one member is demanding more than you are willing to pay, make a side offer to the other in an attempt to subvert their unity. This method has been tried several times on Opie and Anthony, but has never succeeded.
