David was an intern for The Opie and Anthony Show. On his first day working for the show (September 12, 2008), he made an impression on the b-b-b-boys, who thought he was a creep who looked like Keith Gordon from the movies Back to School and Christine. He even had handwriting like a serial killer. David was Jewish and liked sports, so O&A had him do a stereotypically Jewish sports report called Kosher Sports. He was also asked to describe the 2 Girls, 1 Cup video and do movie lines with Bobo, a creepy fan of the show who sounds like Sol Rosenberg from The Jerky Boys. David got a little bit cocky when he tried to shush Anthony and Jimmy at one point, but otherwise O&A were impressed by his appearance - all on his first day.
On David's second day, September 17, David was fooling around with pornstar Lisa Sparxxx when a scary black man claiming to be her husband came into the studio and went after him. It turned out O&A were fucking with David - the black dude was just a fan of the show named Carlton.
At the beginning of his internship, David was made to wear a T-shirt that said "Young, dumb, and full of cum". When David appears in studio, sound clips from Independence Day are played, where Judd Hirsch (playing an over-the-top Jew) goes "David!" and "You'd all be dead now if it wasn't for my David!". Apparently, David has trouble detecting sarcasm and often takes comments literally. He is also a 26-year-old virgin and follows Conservative Jewish custom (which doesn't help him get laid). Often, Jewish listeners will call in and correct David about what he thinks he knows about his faith.
On December 12, 2008, David was brought to a massage parlor to get a happy ending. On December 17, 2008, he was made to kiss Sam, put his face in Danny's ass, and smell one of Jimmy's farts. On December 18, HR (Human Resources) told O&A that they could no longer do things with the interns.
Opie noticed early on how similar David is to creepy fan Bobo. This resulted in them both being given the David and Bobo Show, where they were given the last 15 minutes of the show on a Friday. Even though it was total train wreck, Opie, Anthony and Jimmy confessed they couldn't stop listening. The David and Bobo Show was given a few more Friday's over the next few months, including on David's last day as an intern.
On March 18, 2009, David got to do reviews of his fellow interns. He gave a good review to intern Scott (who he gave an A-), and a poor review of intern Matt (D-). Later that day, Opie pulled a prank on David where he had him walk in on Ron and Fez when they did their show and try to introduce them to intern Scott. Ron (who does not want David around when he does the show) threw David out, and David felt dejected.
David's final official day as an intern was May 15, 2009. Harsher intern regulations enforced by the company and the fact that David's broadcast school closed down meant he could not stay on the show. When it was offered to him to be put on the guest list so he could visit, David did his people proud by saying "Why would I still come here for free?"
He also spawned his own catch phrase in a whiny, Jewish "Woohhhhhhnoooooo!" Which is often followed by a quickly sputtered, awkward statment, (ie. "Woohhhhhhnoooooo! Bobowhywouldyousaythatbobo?" or "Woohhhhhhnoooooo! Whataretheydoingwhywouldtheydothat?") The pathetic cry of "Woohhhhhhnoooooo!" caught on with the guys to the point they would quote it when David wasn't even working that day. Eventually David became aware of his own catch phrase, at which point Anthony noticed he was doing in on purpose which made it sound forced and shitty. The week after David was no longer with the show the boys did an "Woohhhhhhnoooooo!" after which Opie asked "Remember that guy? No?"
