Danny

Danny Ross is a former intern and current staff member of The Opie and Anthony Show. In the past, he had done a great job with AOTM. Danny allegedly looks like the Green Goblin, and is often goofed on for his constant drinking. He once went to a baseball game with Opie and his girlfriend, where when Opie reached out to hold his girl's hand Danny reached and took it instead, walking through the crowd from a while before Opie realized. He also brought "Chocolate Rain" to the O&A show, and was caught on video playing Dance Dance Revolution. One time, he bought Anthony a universal remote as a present, which Anthony left on his table and told Danny he used it; then Danny came over and saw the remote wasn't even taken out of the box.
Danny appears to be one of Anthony's frequent drinking buddies and guests at The Compound. And has also been a common guest on Live from the Compound.
Danny was also a third mic on Uninformed with Bill Burr & Joe DeRosa and had a very brief promotion to co-host, for about two minutes, when DeRosa left the show early one day.
An occasional joke on the show is that when Danny is absent, it's because he's been fired. According to the September 16th broadcast of the show, Sam made a remark that Danny was no longer with Sirius XM. But on September 17th, he was heard for the first time in almost a week.
On the October 9th, 2009 show, Danny and Steve C got into another heated on-air argument. To the point that Steve admitted he wanted to beat the shit out of Danny. Danny's un-manly response was "I'll sue your ass."
One of Danny's strengths is his ability to find videos and pictures of stuff O&A are discussing on air.
On October 4th, 2011 on the After O&A Live show, After years of tension behind the scenes, Mars and Danny blow up at each other. The fight was cut off because of Ron and Fez, but did continue after show as mentioned by Fez. The next day, while the boys were listening to clips of the fight, Danny came in to explain how the fight started. This lead to another fight between him and Mars.
Fun Facts
Danny once cried at a Metallica concert in 2005, because they played three songs that are rarely played live, as their encore. The encore consisted of Metal Militia, Dyers Eve, and a song that was not said on air. (December 19th, 2007)
