Cringe is the title of Opie and Anthony's never-released CD from the WNEW days. Apparently, the Infinity lawyers had a problem with some of the content, even though it had all gone out over the air without any problem. One of the issues was that bleeped or dumped content that went over the air was uncensored on the CD and the lawyers believed that if the FCC heard the CD they would believe the bits were played on air as the were on the CD. Although the CD officially never saw the light of day, during O&A's hiatus, the master tapes mysteriously found their way into the hands of the runners of various Syndication Underground sites. The full double CD is available in various places on the web.
Cringe is also the proposed name for a possible Opie and Anthony autobiography, if it is ever written.
