Cherry Darts is a friendly game of accuracy and skill. Opie and Anthony held a Cherry Darts game on December 3, 2004 so listeners could win a MyFi, the then-state-of-the-art XM radio receiver. One of the contestants was Pat from Moonachie, appearing on the show prior to his star-making turn in the first Eggnog Drinking Contest.

On April 16, 2010, Jim Norton announced on Twitter that Cherry Darts 2 would be taking place on April 28, 2010, with the prizes being 2 Apple iPads. Unfortunately, a problem with the email address used for contestants to sign up caused the contest to be pushed back to May 14. Contestants included friends of the show Heather Height and Bobo.

The Game

Object: To land the whipped-cream covered cherry on, or closest to, the stipper's balloon knot.

What's needed: Fresh cherries, whipped cream, two or more strippers, two or more contestants, and a judge with a standard ruler.

How to play: Get the strippers nekkid and have them sit backwards on a couch (on their knees), so that their asses face the contestants. Especially yummy strippers may find that they need to pull their ass cheeks apart to fully expose the balloon knot. Next, mark a line on the floor using tape to ensure all contestants are throwing from about the same distance. Finally, each contestant selects a cherry and dips it in the whipped cream and throws at the stripper of his or her choice, aiming for the balloon knot, one contestant at a time.

How to win: The winner is the contestant who successfully lands a cherry on the balloon knot. If no contestant is able to land the cherry, the contestant who's shot hit closest to the balloon knot wins. This is determined by the smudge of whipped cream left by the impact of the cherry. The judge makes the final decision; no "do-overs" or whining.
