Buddy Ebsen

Buddy Ebsen is an actor who is most well-known for playing Jed Clampett on the original Beverly Hillbillies television show and for his catchphrase "Weeeeeelllll Doggie!". Opie and Anthony wanted to have the last inteview with Buddy, so they talked to him every now and then and had him record a "Well Doggie" every time they talked. When all the sound clips were played back to back it revealed a morbid decay of Buddy's health. Despite their intentions, O&A were always extremely nice to Buddy and he was considered a friend of the show, and Buddy liked the boys in return.
Unfortunately, O&A became Unlucky Lottery victims when Ebsen died during their 2-year "vacation" from WNEW. Thus, they did not get to conduct the last interview.
