Bio
Already a solid headlining road act, Bill is not so much a token as he is a killer headlining comic who stars in the famous Chappelle's Show sketches "Race Draft" and the "Samuel Jackson’s Beer". Bill also has his own Comedy Central Presents Special, and boasts Letterman and Conan appearances on this resume, as well.
Bill Burr has emerged as one of the freshest voices working in comedy today. He has taped his own half hour standup special for Comedy Central, leading to appearances on VH-1's I Love the 80's, Comedy Central's Shorties Watching Shorties, and The Opie and Anthony Show
Look for him on an upcoming appearance of The Late Show with David Letterman. Bill was the hit of the 2004 "Just for Laugh" Festival in Montreal, Canada.
Fun Facts
- Was one of the few white performers on Chappelle's Show. After Dave Chappelle declared on Oprah that he left the show as a result of a white guy laughing at him on the set, Opie and Anthony jokingly labeled Burr as the mentioned "white guy" and claimed he destroyed the show.
- Invented the "mousetrap" bit on the show.
- After attendees at the 2006 Philadelphia Traveling Virus show began heckling some of the performers, Burr viciously attacked them during his standup set. The incident became legendary and video of it leaked onto YouTube.
